Group's Management Structure
Furukawa Co., Ltd. has been working to restructure the organization through the selection and concentration of the businesses, to improve and enhance its financial culture in order to meet diversifying customer demands and to win global competition.
In 2005, we adopted a group management framework by having individual parts of the company spun off as separate companies. Each of our businesses was spun off into a separate company and we transitioned to a management framework consisting of the Furukawa Company Group. A holding company, Furukawa Co., Ltd., serves as the core of that group.
