In 1957, we launched into real estate business by setting up Furukawa Real Estate Co., Ltd. Starting with the construction of an office building in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, this business expanded to the construction of an office building in Dojima, Osaka and Chuo-ku, Fukuoka-shi, the construction and lease of an apartment in Tokyo and Fukuoka, and even to brokerage business.

In order to reinforce the business base of Furukawa Real Estate Co., Ltd. and make the company's administrative department more efficient, Furukawa Co., Ltd. absorbed this company in August 2003 and further promoted the business and improved the related services. In particular, office buildings, which are covered as a main business line, have been improved by making them more intelligent for the information technology society and giving considerations to air-conditioning, elevators, rest rooms and other facilities. Through these efforts, we are trying best to offer comfortable business space.
