Supported by the paint-manufacturing technologies that we have developed over many years, we are making every effort to improve product values and to meet the needs of markets which are demanding more and more sophisticated products, as well as focusing on the development of new technologies from a global standpoint. In order to respond to the next-generation industrial structure, we are expanding our business further in the automobile industry by enhancing not only the Paints Division, but also the Chemicals Division whose anchor product is acrylic rubber. We are promoting the development of business to offer higher-value added products centering around our two main businesses - paints and chemicals.
Fluorinated Paints
We successfully manufactured ambient temperature dry-type fluorinated resin paints, ahead of other manufacturers in Japan. Fluorinated paints are highly water and chemical resistant and are highly weather resistant. Our fluorinated resin paints have been used on large steel structures and large buildings, such as the Seto-Ohashi Bridge and the Tokyo International Forum.
Traffic Paints
Our Road paints are used in a number of public works controlled by Public Safety Commissions and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, as well as private works. Also, we developed Escort Guide and Escort Zone textured paving blocks to guide visually impaired people and help make a barrier-free society.
Powder Coatings
Powder Coatings contain non organic solvents are environmentally-friendly since they are low-pollution, resource-saving and hazardous material-free. Therefore, our Powder Coatings are used by diversified users who want to reduce environmental burdens.
Inorganic Paints
When it comes to inorganic paints, we have an integrated system of production from resin production to paint manufacturing. Inorganic paints are highly weather and stain resistant and have a high hardness level. Their applications are further expanding into system kitchens and ceramic construction materials
Toa Mori
Different from conventional water based paints, the appearance of Toa Mori is almost the same level as that of solvent based paints. The Toa Mori is quick-drying and have a coating strength of 3H. In addition, because they are almost odorless, they can be used in various environments including places where odors must be controlled.
AR Rubber
Acrylic rubber is highly heat, oil and ozone resistant. It is used by a wide range of customers to make rubber parts such as automobile gaskets, hoses and seals.
